Egyptian Philosophy And Religion

They became Hellenized, ultimately. After the last Ptolomy, official Egyptian religion died altogether and the gods/godesses became popular worship. A couple of emporers hailed them (especially Isis) but some abolished them.

There was a Temple to Isis on the Campus Martius outside of Rome. Isis and Seperis were the Egypitain dieties most worshipped by the Romans.
