Yes indeed -id say He looks rather Christianised and a bit Sanitised for popular consumption :wacko: .

He looks as if he's not wearing any footwear. I'm guessing that this statue was made during the 19th century as his clothing seems typical for the Victorian perception of how the Romans looked.
