  1. Wooo hooo........ Yipeeeee!!!!

It's finally finished, well done Gail, you must be really proud of yourself.

So when can we expect to see it on the shelves????

On the football side of things, the (once) mighty Leeds United also got off to a winning start, only four more victories to go then we might start getting some points on the board!!!

  2. I actually haven't had the nightmare about a course...but a 'feeling' that there was one piece of paper that I didn't sign. I guess that's what keeping me from having a blow-out celebration...but when I hear the 'all clear' signal, I'll be going along similar to what we've seen in the Imaginary Party!

Well if anyone deserve's a major blow-out then it's you Doc!

    27yrs of school!!!......... WOW!!

    That's pretty amazing dedication.

P.S. If your blow out's anything like the party we've had here at UNRV then I want pictures!!!!!!!!

  3. I take my hat of to the Triumvir's, you guys really are doing a top notch job of Running this site so efficiently.

I second what Nephele said about finding a "home" here at UNRV, I've just recently reached my 500th post (yipeeee!!) which I never thought I would have, but the quality of people at UNRV has made it a pleasure and I'm looking forward to many many more.

    Cheers Guys :thumbsup::D

  4. Your best bet would be to go to the passport office direct, tell them your predicament and they'll sort it out. You may be sat around waiting all day long but you will leave with your new passport by the end of the day. A similar thing happened to a friend of mine once, after many phone calls which achieved nothing he eventually went to the passport office and got his passport the same day, just in time because he was going on holiday the very next day!

Good luck WW, hope you get it sorted.

  5. I really don't want to write about anything other than Rome.

    And why should you!

You've obviously put your heart and soul into this book and you're writing about something that you're passionate about, so why the hell should you write about something that dosn't really do it for you.

Like you say, Ancient history and Rome in particular is pretty hot at the moment so now's the right time to release something like this so get your finger out and get this damn book finished!!!

  6. @Nephele,

D'uh! And there it is -- right in front of my inquisitive, slightly-sunburnt-from-a-lunchbreak-spent-at-the-beach nose! Ah well, I'm signed up now! :(

    -- Nephele

Hehe your not on your own Nephele I've been here for well over a year now and only realised there was a newsletter about thirty seconds ago :rip:

Anyway I'm also signed up as well now!

  7. I am not racist in the slightest but I have to say that the influx of foreigners and asylum seekers into this country has to stop! I've not worked and payed my taxes all my life just so some family can come from god knows where into this country and live rent free in a house thats bigger than the one I've bought and am still paying for through hard work and determination, while these people will just sit there receiving free hand outs from the government.

Did you see the story in the paper a few weeks ago about an asylum seeker who whilst driving a car with out a license, road tax, MOT or insurance knocked down and killed a little girl? Do you know what happened to him? He got a few months in jail and on his release was given a five bedroomed house paid for by the government or in other words the British Public!

I'm not saying every asylum seeker is like this, it's just an example of what is happening in this country.

I don't agree with everything the BNP preach but I certainly know where they coming from.

  8. Sorry WW but I don't agree.
