    I am so glad you had a great time, Gaius. Your wife should be made an honorary empress! And I knew you'd love Piazza Navona. You now have the perfect excuse to go back, as there is far too much to enjoy in two days.

     

    So, whoever warned you that the Spanish Steps and Trevi were too full of crowds was right! (It may have been Mosquito or Maladict - can't quite remember). But at least I hope you managed to toss a coin in to ensure your return!

     

    I loved your photos. What is your zoom? 200mm?

    Oh yes there were many a coin tossed into the fountain! :P

    The piazza Navona was good but I preferred Campo De Fiori where we spent our second night eating and drinking.

    I've been really busy this past few weeks with work and stuff so haven't had much time to finish the rest of my blog, hopefully I'll get it done this week end.

    The Shame of America; The Village Idiot, etc. = The illicit prez of the USA.

     

    Prez chinney = the power behind the porcelain throne; Viet-Nam draft dodger and the guy who cocked up a good shot and the war in Eyewreck.

     

    jolley roger = Karl von Rove = the illegitimate prez' propagandist and liar emeritus. The very reincarnation of Dr. Josef Goebbels(?).

     

    gnewt dingrich = Newt Gingrich = infamous ignorant author; author of the Contract On America; leader of the gang of republiks who impeached Pres. Clinton. (I didn't know that any self respecting Southerner considered sodomy sex.)

     

    roley poley = can't remember his name the nonce. = the head of the committee which presented the indictment against Pres. Clinton and the lead persecutor in the Senate.

     

    looziana lecher = can't remember his name = Head of the House. Had a sign outside of his door, sic: "Put out, or get out."

     

    idaho babe = name escapes me = much the same as above.

     

    The Democrats at the end are killey bait.

    I totally second everything you said in your blog about the legend that is John Terry, although I'm a BIG Leeds Utd fan and not much of a lover of Chelsea (sorry), I've got to take my hat of to JT, the man epitomizes everything that a footballer should be, he's 110% for 90mins, he wears his heart on his sleeve and like you say if the situation came about, he would lay down his life for club and country, with all the diving, screaming and play acting that goes on in todays game I'm just glad that JT's gonna be OK and be back to kick all those soft lads up in the air! ;) .

     

    BTW..... Who the hell does Cesc Fabregas think he is????? The boy is 19 yrs old and struts around like he's a seasoned pro! Don't get me wrong, the kid is an exceptional talent and is going to be one of the best midfielders in the world, but right now he needs to stick to learning his trade, keep his mouth shut and show a little respect!

    TRUE STORY!

     

     

    Blonde IN THE KITCHEN--Brutal!!!

     

    She is in the kitchen preparing to boil eggs for breakfast.

    He walks in. She turns and says, "You've got to make love to me-- this very moment."

    His eyes light up and he thinks, "This is my lucky day."

    Not wanting to lose the moment, he embraces her and then gives it his all on the kitchen table.

    Afterwards she says, "Thanks," and returns to the stove.

    More than a little puzzled, he asks, "What was that all about?"

     

    She explains, "The egg timer's broken."

    Just been checking out your photo's Lacertus, thereis some excellent pictures on there.

     

    I especially like the one from the January file, the one with the panda bear.. very nice :(

     

    lol, you mean my childish photos? I talked about Venice and Milan only. :)

     

     

    I too was recently in Venice this summer, i was staying in a hotel right beside the Rialto bridge, You've got so many wonderful pic's of the rest of Venice but none of this famous bridge, i just wondered why, did you run out of film :lol::lol:
