Archeologists unearthed a life-size bronze foot from a statue that appears to be wearing a sock and a sandal.

Archaeologists have discovered a complete and undisturbed lion skeleton in an ancient Egyptian tomb near that of the boy king, Tutankhamun, the first such find ever. This is important because it shows the exalted reputation that lions enjoyed more than 3,000 years ago. No wonder they're called the king of the beasts.

With such an important painting stolen, it makes me wonder how easy it must be to steal a million dollar painting and not get caught. Amazing how he stole it.

Off roman topic. Anybody remember that farmer in scandinavia had a mound on his property and the legend said that there was many treasures below it and so he dug it up and found an almost completely intact viking ship?
