    Latin Translations

With pleasure of course. But I could be your competitor in this business. O'k. Etiam sine lege poena est conscientia. I have no problem with Russian translation but cannot say it on English. Thanks!
  2. My rouge translation is: The person who is alone oneself will alone with others. But I agree with PM. It is not exact phrase. Lol, Silentium! I tried to translate it on Russian than on English. And I remembered one else: Post mortem medicina I think you all understand it without translating.
  3. Interestingly. I'm using MSN-browser and havn't similar problems. But I think this is not browser problems. Neither here not there.
  4. This is strange. I haven't problems like that. I specially drew attention on it even.
  5. Thats great, Longbow! I thing you have do nothing against it if I'll copy this text for my write work... TIA

    My Bow

O'k. I never use flash. I can do picture in dark room without flash. It is possible if you have any digital camera.

    My Bow

Good thing. May I advise you? When you'll photograph from close distance next time try to turn flash or (if it is not possible) make pictures in day light. In this case you pictures will have rich colours and volume. Good luck!
  8. IMHO. I don't think so. Celtic culture had deeply roots regardless Romans. Besides them Beowulf was written more later of Roman epoch. Of course Romans effected on Europe and Britain but it is not necessary arrogates an absolute majority of the culture successes to Romans. Beowulf was written in Celtic style. Beowulf here too
  9. I'm not sure but maybe it will better if words "today", "yestarday" to be differ at little by colour or type from other text.

Yes, I did it when was on digs in Crimea. I like Pheodosia and visited it each time when I was in Crimea. My digs were in 100 km from it but I know archeologists which work in this digs. The church named Iverskoy Mother of The God and it opens now. Cool place! If you'll decide to visit Crimea I recommend Pheodosia. This is gold mine from historians. If I cannot go to Egypt next summer (but I think about it now) I'll go to Kafa digs.

Fresco of Pheophan the Greek in the Church of Saint Dimitriy (or rather the parts of fresco which could safe, alas...). Pheophan painted it when he went to Moscow from Greece and staied in Kafa. As I know nobody decide to restore it.

This is the church (14 BC) in Pheodosia aka ancient Kafa (Crimea). It stand on place of big archaelogical digs. The church is famous thanks to the fact that wellknown icon of Mother of God is there. The eyes of her fill with tears when miseries must come.

This picture was done in old church in south of Russia. Now there is a little archaeological museum in it. I wanted to do a photo of finds and don't know who is on my photo. I'm sure that I was only one in this church in that time. This is very deserted place. What is your opinion?
  16. This is so good! If I'll get promotion one day it will be so fun for me most likely. I bounce from job to job. Think this is my restless nature. I found good job not long ago. I like it (I'm guide in one of the most famous museums) but my salary is so little. I have other job too - aerobics trainer in sport club. It is good money but I hate this job. It is hard to understand for me how can have patience on unspeakable day job. You got really worthy tribute for your patience.

    Latin Language Education

I studied two foreign languages in school (German and Spanish). This is usually in Russia but more often are English and German. I began study English before university and study it now. Besides them I study Latin and ancient German in University and have new language in this year - French. My brother studies in "English" school. This is a special school in Moscow where all subjects teach on English beginning at 7 year of teaching. (all - 11 years). Besides them the second language adds at 7 grade. I cannot say that I speak good on Spanish or German, I haven't big practic in this languages but I understand they very well and can speak if it need. I was in Germany and speak there without any problems.
  20. Dum spiro, spero (Ovid) Sol omnibus lucet (Petronius)
