Pompeii's Alexander Mosaic Set To Be Restored
Crispina replied to guy's topic in Archaeological News: Rome
It was created by a true artist. I would love to see it in person. By the way, I'm always tempted to scroll down and about on the pages to read about other exciting finds. The video of the Acropolos Museum was amazing. That would be wonderful to see as well. Have you ever been? -
Photos were stunning, esp. the one with the arched entrance to the arena. You can almost sense what it was like to emerge from that and be inside.

Oh, thank you. The answer must have been in the first link which I could not open without disabling Adblock. I only read the info at the second link.

I can't wait to see what discoveries are made. Perhaps areas where looters haven't been. Wouldn't that be thrilling to see new statuary, etc? I know many people find it all so touristy and such, but I've always been fascinated by Pompeii.

That's amazing.

This is the first I've read about these other coliseums. The one in France is amazing. I hope you get to travel to Croatia, hope we all get to travel - anywhere - in the not too distance future.
