Alistair Forrest

I've been a journalist and editor for many years. For six years I lived on what I and many locals consider to be the site of Caesar's last battle (Munda) and that's where I was inspired to write my first book, Libertas. I now live in Alderney, northernmost of the Channel Islands, with my wife under the protection of our centurions Kiki and Lucca (Maremmas) and our Spanish cat Achilles. Right next door to the best-preserved Roman fort in Europe and the site of Iron Age and Roman excavations.
