  4. Never good to see things like this happen.
  5. A group from my school goes to Panama every year for a 3 week archaeology dig/study, looks like fun.

  11. I think Yahoo allows for more space, 4 mb if my memory serves me right.
  12. Some good info, thanks! I'm ashamed I don't know more about Saint Patrick, I was named after him for God's sake! I never knew he had gone to Rome and written an account of his life.
  13. I was looking for info about that underground business, and I found this, did'nt know where to post it, and it's unrelated to the underground 'layer' but I found it both interesting and somewhat amusing. http://home.earthlink.net/~walterk12/Celti.../Edinburgh.html
  14. Well Celts studied the skies as part of the Pagan Religion, obviously the heavens were a big deal for them, I'd have to agree the Roman's interest in the stars, would be more weather related than anything. But of course I could be wrong! I watched an interesting show called Secrets of the Dark Ages, where they basically explore the role, and important contributions of so-called 'barbarians'. Even though It's called Secrets of the Dark Ages many of the episodes cover roman times. I must say after watching that show I begin to wonder exactly how much the romans thought of themselves!
  15. one of my scottish friends had mentioned stories about that, underground thing always seem to be more interesting than above ground
  16. Metal Detectors are great fun! I found mostly old bottle caps and some nails but it's still interesting.
  17. Very cool pictures, thanks for sharing!
  18. Interesting stuff, never would have thought the remains of a Viking wharf would be so rare.
  19. Sounds like quite the project moon, let me know if you need any help!
  20. I been trying to find the exact script for that Grim Reaper with the Americans skit, loved that!
  21. The only factor that would make someone not want to watch this movie, besides lack of interest in the subject or disagreeing with the way it was written, would be the constant graphic violence. If the sight of blood, beating, and the like makes you squirm I would advise against subjecting yourself to 2 and half hours of it.
  22. I just saw it today, loved it! I was glad to see the story of Christ without sugar coating. I did'nt see anything that would lead me to be anti-jewish, guess they're just afraid that people may realise they havent always been the 'victims'.I would recommend everyone even if you are not religious to go and see this movie, it is very powerful, and does what movies should do in my opinion, make people think!
