How glad I am to have found this site!

Salvete, omnes.

I am a Latin teacher in Memphis, TN and found this site while looking for a forum that my students might use. What a treasure trove of useful information this place is! Thanks to the creators and webmasters. I look forward to many stimulating discussions and informative articles.

Hi Im We, Id like You to meet Me, Myself, and I also.

We are very happy to be here, We've known about this for a while and had another account but Forgetfulness (or constant head-butting) has made us forget that account.

Im from the game called Roma-Victor and am waiting for its release. Its a MMORPG for Roman times. Lead by a fantastic team of developers, though some of the mods are tooo serious (hehhehehe ... hint 3-4 may be reading this)

Hello Chyhoedd...

Welcome to UNRV. We are always happy to welcome new members, from Roma-Victor and from outside of that environment. You may find however that this place is quite a bit more serious in nature. While we certainly don't mind a bit of light heartedness, please understand that this site is reserved for historical discussion. :)

Hello everyone!

I found this site while searching for info about the Roman Empire on Google.

I'm only a 16-year-old high school student, but since my 1st year in it (taking up Julius Caesar), I've always had this fascination for the Roman Empire, that seems to grow stronger every year...

Sometimes I think there's something more than coincidence that I was born on the same date (May 29, 1989) as the fall of Constantinople (May 29, 1453). :D

PS. What does UNRV stand for? :)

Hi there,

I'm a Latin 1 student in So. Cal. I recently became interested in Roman History because of an introduction to Latin history and culture class I took over the summer and I have a friend that is a real Rome nut.

;) is anyone part of the JCL?

(I probably should have done this a while back  )

Hi everyone I know its a bit late in the game but I live in Pittsburgh and have an undying passion for history. I play baseball and sometimes baskeball with my friends. I love history but sadly a lot of people to not these days. I am a history and sports nut. Remember whoever does not like history does not know the past shapes the future.

P.S. I asked a couple of kids at my school they barely knew who Alexandeer the Great was! Whoever knew Atilla the Hun was hailed a genius. B);)

Guest Legionary 312AD

Greetings.

I hail from a town on the stormy coast of Wales.

I have been ghosting around UNRV for about a year and decided that it is time to register and become a member of the community.

I am a 26 year old Ancient History postgrad. I am half way through my MA and intend to go on to do a PHD.

My specialist topic is pretty much anything to do with Constantine.
