Guest spartacus Posted March 19, 2005 Report Share Posted March 19, 2005 I purchased the King Arthur DVD today and just finished watching it I thought Clive Owen was miscast, the Saxon King was great, a really nasty piece of work! longbow Posted March 19, 2005 Report Share Posted March 19, 2005 I didnt like it at all,thought the acting was bad the costumes terrible and it had a very poor script.Stellan skarsgard was good as Cerdic but overall a very poor attempt at recreating the Arthur legend. I don't like him as an author, but once you read that you'll see that King A. was a blatant rip off....and most importantly you'll see where the idea for keira's outfit came from!!!! Not to mention most of the action scenes, oh...and the entire plot...... I'm sure it will have the usual accuracy problems, but the battle scenes did look fantastic, and it does have Jeremy Irons in it. Anyone heard of or seen it ?
