My first impression is that it is a copy of Septimus Severus because of the bifurcation in the beard, but I was also thinking possibly Marcus Aurelius. The antiques dealers had no clue. Any thoughts? I have to agree with Bryaxis that the slender looking face does remind me a bit of Lucius Verus, although I can't find any evidence that he wore his beard in such a way.
