indianasmith 33 Report post Posted August 16, 2019 Sorry I haven't been too active on this forum lately, but I did just post up a video on my YouTube channel featuring my modest collection of Roman artifacts. Feel free to check it out! (And I apologize for the obvious gaffe; I said 31 AD for 31 BC there at the end!) 1

dee 0 Report post Posted August 28, 2019 Hello and thank you! With no clear opinion about the Roman belief in an afterlife; what would be the motivation for Roman citizens to keep figurines and perform rituals for deceased family members?
dee 0 Report post Posted September 2, 2019 Did the Romans possibly fear the dead? Was there an idea of afterlife before Greek influence? Your collection is fascinating I enjoyed seeing those items can't imagine how much you love keeping them. Would you happen to know if Romans ever purposely broke figures as ritual offerings?
