Good Freeware Music Composing Programs

Recommended Posts

I'm bored, lol and as you have probably figured out I'm dangerously creative when bored. (I'm also considering doing a complete overhaul of my forum...again...but at least I do have a logical reason and that is that my forum's admin panel is broken and I'm getting *no help* from tech support.)

I got this idea last night to try composing music on the PC, and I know there are several free programs out there, but I have no idea where to start? ;) Which ones are good, which ones not so good, which ones will crash my compy..

Any ideas?

"tiny piano"? Interesting name lol. Ok, I'll look it up. Thanks!

[edit]what does it do? How does it work? is it a music composing mixing program or does it simply turn your keyboard into a piano? :whistling: I can't even play a regular piano...

OK

I found something called Psycle, but it's a pain in the butt. I have a feeling it's very professional, but I have no clue how to use it
