Aurelianus 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2006 May all the gods bless you, Aurelianus! You are right, in that Suetonius, the Max Clifford of the ancient world gave old Tibs a bad press, but Tacitus must share some blame too. Do I get some sort of honor for sticking up for your blue-eyed-boy? Would I work as Caligula's PA? Erm... no. As soon as he realised I was studying him.... "Here Caldrailus, drink this....". Oh righto Ca.. ahh.. Gai.. um Caesar. Funny taste. Burning sensation. Strange.. I feel myself turning into a corpse... Oh no, the poor dear wouldn't! He was a god after all... he would have taken it as a compliment... probably, well maybe, ok its a 50:50 chance. Anybody fancy Stilicho's job? Challenging, well paid, interesting clientele
