Gracchi Posted March 1, 2007 Report Share Posted March 1, 2007 yes , the east was very very important, , there was one roman general who did reall well, i talking of parthia, in partic, but yes most roman armies didnt fair very well there. on another note, parthia/iran was never conquered by rome , we are seeing the consequences of that today still.
