Guess the ancient city!

Correct and for those who don't know it Erice is one of the more spectacular ancient city sites on Sicily siting as it does several hundred feet above the port town of Trapani even if the visible Punic period remains may not be in the same league. :D

It's a really nice museum to visit with good views over Verona as I remember.

Well, I suspected it would go fast but not that fast! :lol: Note to self: in future do not pick any Italian locations unless it's somewhere really really remote...

Well, there seems to be very little in the way of clues in either the masonry, the biology, or the geography. It looks European, so let's start there.
