Book Review: Digging for the Truth. One Man's Epic Adventure Exploring the World's Greatest Archaeological Mysteries

There are no maps to explain here the locations of the places visited and the further reading barely scratches the surface of the subjects that are featured. The book also lacks an index. You do, however, get a list of all the clothes the presenter wears, including details of each of his hats.

Sounds like riveting stuff.

If the book is like the shows, it'll be fine for high school kids...but I've been disappointed by the shows for some time now. I keep wanting there to be something more substantial!

EDIT: After reading the review, it sounds like what I feared is true...or worse, as it sounds like the book doesn't even come up to the tv series!
