The applications for the 2011 Vindolanda Volunteer Excavation programme will open at 12 noon GMT on Monday 1st November 2010.
This year the excavations will be working as one team from Monday to Friday each week from Monday 4th April to Friday 16th September 2011. All places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
For 2011, we are also able to offer on site accommodation in the new Hedley Centre. There are 10 bed spaces available each week in one triple, three twin/double and one single (with disabled access) rooms. You can book your place when you apply to excavate.
