Pertinax saddled his trusty mount and once again pushed northward to the edge of the civilised world. This time visiting the fort at Banna , Milecastle 41 , Cammboglana (and its unusual Syrian archer cohors)and Procolita . He also visited the sacred precinct of Mithras near to Procolita.
The weather was wild and veered from sunshine to driving hail, nevertheless Pertinax has procured the images of several powerful places .
