The movie was great, but as Markus Regulus is mentioning, the Roman soldiers were professional warriors and guards, far from home. They did their job, and this was just another body to be punished.

Jesus is Christ, I have no problem with that. JC=JC. But the Bible tells us that Julius Ceasar was made in JC's image. That is a greater problem for me . .

[Spirits]

Spirits are all over, both good and cruel ones. The cruel ones are those that influenced the Romans with such violence.

 

The Highest Spirit is not fighting any longer, since victory now is won, but the others, to fullfill His will. No one is from hell, but one third will be sent there together with their high priest.
