  1. The remains of a Roman wall from the fourth century BC was unearthed during construction work in La Marina, Ibiza. Ibiza City Council reported that the archaeological remains that have appeared in the ground-works next to the church of San Telmo, in the district of La Marina de Vila, are dated the fourth century before Christ....

    Another good reason to visit Ibiza.

    4th century BC ? I'm a bit skeptical there. From what I remember Ibiza was a carthaginian base until the end of the first punic war, in the 3rd century BC...

     

    If it's from the 4th cent. B.C. it can't possibly be Roman. Must be Carthaginian. Nevertheless, exciting stuff!
