I'm very curious to hear from any experts (or pseudo experts) with perspectives on the condition of the Colosseum and other important sites. I felt that some of the sites were lacking in tourist amenites - like signage to provide some context of what we're viewing (not bathrooms, etc.). I very much enjoyed that the sites looked very much like the ruins that they are. Obviously there's a different between being preserved in a state of ruin and continuing to fall apart...
