A wooden anchor from Roman times that may have belonged to King Herod's royal yacht was discovered three weeks ago in the Dead Sea by archaeologist Gideon Hadas of Kibbutz Ein Gedi. The anchor, 180 centimeters long and 90 centimeters wide, weighs some 500 kilograms.
