Guest Slave Posted October 24, 2005 Report Share Posted October 24, 2005 I watched the Empire TV show and I was struck by how well the slaves were treated. Obviously slaves in the Roman world were not slaves like they we think of slaves or even prisoners or even the homeless. Were slaves just employees who chose to live where they worked?
