Gordopolis
Some 1700 years ago, the Huns burst from the Eurasian steppe and sent shockwaves through Europe. Blowing apart the Germanic world, then smashing through the borders of the Roman Empire, they changed the world forever. A mere century later, the Huns and their most famous warrior-king, Attila, vanished into history. Yet to this day, "Attila" and "Huns" remain bywords for tyranny, violence and cruelty. Is this fair? Here's my blog article exploring the Huns in detail, to help you make your mind up! https://www.gordondoherty.co.uk/writeblog/who-were-the-huns
