I mean these things look sort of heavy on the head and neck: Is there any mention of emperors having neck problems from wearing these things all day? They probably did not exceed 10 lbs... which isn't that much for a grown man to wear... the standard military helmet weighs around 9-10lbs and it is not too much on the neck and you would not have a strain for wearing too long... though it might be cumbersome...
