England and St. George!

Recommended Posts

It's a sad fact that over here in blighty we English don't give St Georges Day the credit and attention it deserves, unlike the Irish who celebrate Paddy's day like it's going out of fashion.

Personaly I'm very patriotic and think St Georges Day should be celebrated. For one, it should be a public bank holiday so people can actually go out and celebrate it instead of going to work. I'll bet a good percentage of people in England don't even know that today is St Georges Day because there's absolutely no promoting of it what so ever, as far as most people are concerned it's just another day.........SAD
