Fall is here. You can see it in the trees, feel it in the air. You can smell it in the morning dew. It rained today, it was the kind of rain that smells like snow. The wind is blowing through the trees. I love days like this. It isn't stormy, but there's a certain energy in the air that isn't there at any other time. Only in the fall and occasionally in winter. It's beautiful. I feel so alive when the weather is like this...
This week promises to be much better than last week.
For the first time in literally months and I feel GREAT!!! I had forgotten how awesome it could be to just dance with no purpose in mind (as opposed to dancing in order to work some Big Time Mojo during which I always wear myself out and leave myself feeling rather icky for days afterwards). WOO!!!
I just received a signed copy of Gladiatrix to review for UNRV which I can't wait to get started on it! I've been busy though, I plan on starting it this weekend.

OMG, I just got an email from my aunt, my cousin Jennifer Founds (my little Jenny!!) has just started singing professionally, and will be touring soon. Jenny is such an AMAZING singer, a good actress and I hear is getting good on a guitar to. I AM SO PROUD of my little Jenny (now not so little anymore). I LOVE HER SO MUCH!! For my new scanner to get here. I hated using my camera to get my artwork online, and my old scanner is beyond worthless, so I decided to get a new one. My dad sent me a Circuit City gift card, but, much to my surprise and dismay, the local Circuit City does not carry flatbed scanners! I've ordered one online and received conformation last night that it has been shipped. I cannot wait till it gets here!

Well I talked to the guy who would have been my boss today. He said that he really was only looking for a subcontractor (and that I really hadn't made an issue by calling too much; I and my friend had both blown it out of proportion). I'm unable to be a subcontractor until I have a shop to work in, but I said I'd give him a call as soon as I had a place to work. He asked for my number as well which shows me he definitely is interested. He also filled me in on the name of the guy in Beaver Lake.
Well this week was very hectic. I got called in on my day off, and relapsed into my flu-like sickness because of it. Subway opened at our store on Wednesday, and it's been crazy busy ever since. I really hope that things settle down a bit because no one is getting their work done for doing Subway.
On Monday my computer broke but it spontaneously fixed itself.
I had a lot of loose ends tied up this week, I got my car fixed from that parking lot oopsie way-back when, and some other issues
Hehe got 2 or 3 more inches of draw length on my bow...my arrows (the ones made for my compound) are almost too short now I don't think I'll be pulling it back any further than this though...I'm surprised how fast my arms are getting stronger (and also that I have absolutely no stiffness from it...which IMO is really amazing). Arrows still keep going to the left most of the time though...can't figure out why they are always going to the left.

Well, I've finally, FINALLY gotten through that book I was reading (I spent several hours just reading on saturday). Now, finally, I get to start on the two Eagle books I have!! I don't expect them to take as long as the other one did.
I found out last week that I won 50$ just by...doing nothing!! And I am getting a silver and lab-grown alexandrite ring for about 10$ (thanks Ebay!). I found my mom an awesome amethyst ring, and I know she will love it.

Well, good news bad news time. Good news: next week I'll be on my favorite evening shift ALL week. Bad news: this week is HELL.
Monday night I had to work till 10:30, but I didn't actually get to leave untill 11, because of some issues with the shift change. I had to be in again at 6 am. OK, well that's sucky, but I can deal with it.

Well, now I'm an adult. I have been technically "adult" since my eighteenth birthday, but I didn't feel much like one. I mean, nothing changed. I still went to school. I had my driver's license, but I didn't drive, because I didn't have anywhere to drive to, and no car. Now I'm eighteen, have my license and a car, and I now have my high school diploma. Now things have changed.

Yesterday a drive off, day before, a possible write-up. And now this.
I knew before I even went to bed last night that I was going to be tested somehow today. I knew something was going to happen, but I couldn't sit around worrying about it. I had stuff to do.
So if yesterday wasn't enough, I hit someone's car at work. I don't think the damage is bad, at least, not too bad. I don't know who owns the car so I left a note on the windshield with my name and phone number.

I've just started playing with a little freeware program for making fractals. Fractal art using this program takes practically no skill, just pushing the right buttons and adjusting the right settings. Even so, the results are SERIOUSLY cool, and no one can argue about that.
