Festival of Bona Dea, the women's goddess. Celebrated only by women and Vestal Virgins in the house of a Consul or Praetor.
A scandal was caused in the late Republic when P. Clodius Pulcher was discovered to have disguised himself as a woman and infiltrated the event held at the house of the current Pontifex Maximus, G. Julius Caesar. He fled before he could be detained. The accused's alibi was later demolished by Cicero.
Caesar divorced his wife over ths scandal as it was rumored (but never proven) that she and Clodius were having an affair.
