Lacertus

This is the church (14 BC) in Pheodosia aka ancient Kafa (Crimea). It stand on place of big archaelogical digs. The church is famous thanks to the fact that wellknown icon of Mother of God is there. The eyes of her fill with tears when miseries must come.

Yes, I did it when was on digs in Crimea. I like Pheodosia and visited it each time when I was in Crimea. My digs were in 100 km from it but I know archeologists which work in this digs. The church named Iverskoy Mother of The God and it opens now. Cool place! If you'll decide to visit Crimea I recommend Pheodosia. This is gold mine from historians. If I cannot go to Egypt next summer (but I think about it now) I'll go to Kafa digs.
