this is the grip required and the draw is quick and efficient as the weapon is well balanced and not lengthy.

The right hand looks awfully awkward. It seems to me that the hand should be turned around the other way. In that position, it seems to me that the hand would have to go towards the back and the scabbord forward. If the knuckles were pointing forward, the arm would go forward and the scabbord toward the back.

I gave it a try, but I am not at all practiced at it.

Maybe my scabbord wasn't low enough.

Oddly enough this is a "quick draw" position, the sword was out in a trice-probably the best thing for me to do is to post a vid of the draw on youtube -because its over fast! You would thinkthis would hurt or be akward but that sword is light and balanced , its actually lighter than my bowie knife !
