  1. Who believes Dan Brown anyway? He's a good storyteller, and nothing else...
  2. I've read in my daily newspaper an incredible news: in Split there were found fragments of a sarcophagus, made of crimson porphyry, a very rare and precious material that only of the highest rank used, and many historians and archelogists think that are fragments of Diocletian's sarcophagus. Plus, they were found maybe a century ago, in a location near the Diocletian's palace, and they were safely stored in the Museum of Archeology. Restaurators will try to put it in one piece, but it won't be returned to the mausoleum or substuctures. (they say ithose are not a cemetaries any more )
  3. Well, he had quite a problem for that time:he was German, and thus the most suitable target for, hm, conspiracies that a nice bunch of Romans from the palace were cooking up for him. Because of these,at the end Honorius was forced to execute him.
  4. Interesting, but that all pyramid stuff could easily be a fraud or commercial trick. The Bosnian guy that gave that story to the newspaper was setting the building of the pyramid almost somewhere in prehistory! Lame.
  5. Technicaly nothing, but people will think of it as an intolerant or nationalistic opinion. It's natural that people want to save their culture, and that's OK as long as they don't attack anyone or something like that (look at the japanese, for instance)
  6. It's interesting that the biggest etruscan script is on the cloth in which a mummy of a etruscan woman was wrapped. The cloth is 13,75 m long, I think, and it's kept in Zagreb. Very mystical.
