How did Romans say the date after Caesar's calendar reform? Ides of March and a.d. VIII Kal. Oct. are famous dates recorded years after the change. With old calendar terminology in writing, is it safe to say they verbalized dates that way as well? Is it even possible to just the month/day in Latin?
