Hello. I was born in Oregon in 1979 and continue to reside here, and I very much enjoy it. I am the final male heir of an ethnically Italian bloodline, and the majority of my family either live within the United States, Austria or Northern Italia. I possess a fervent curiosity towards much of the hermetic, esoteric, occult and unknown and take an avid pleasure in academics, politics, history, philosophy, art (baroque & renaissance), literature, traveling and film. I am a magna cum laude college graduate, earning degrees in the study of Ancient History as well as Political Economy, and I have earned a minor in Theology. If the stars align correctly I will be attending Law/grad School in 2007. If not, time to travel.

I enjoy collecting antiques, anything that is neo-classical and earlier, and I am also an avid collector of antique or aged books of any kind. I tend to purchase and hoard significant quantities of vinyl albums, books/comic books and/or graphic novels, various types of Italian and French vino, comfortable clothing, Italian giallo films, and old maps.

Music: I am a very diverse and open-minded music listener but also very selective, particular, even fastidious about the genres and artists that I enjoy. My primary listening preferences revolve around underground heavy metal (black/death/doom/thrash/viking/etc.), (neo) apocalyptic folk/martial, post-rock, progressive (art/indo/Italian/kraut/space/RIO), indie/shoegaze/alternative, EBM/gothic/industrial, euro-pop, obscure jazz/blues/country, and finally classical & neoclassical.

Books: As of late and probably more often than not the bulk of my reading dwells within the non-fiction realm (history & politics), but I do enjoy reading classical literature, and anything involving folk tales, mysticism, magick, or religion. I'm always open to suggestions as well, so if you are absolutely in love with something you think I might not have sunk my teeth into, please feel free to share.
