  1. Diana! Its your mate, cornelius_sulla aka Dane Julian! I'm still alive, send me a message and I'll get back to you. Hope you and your family are all good in Kansas!

    Your friend, Sulla.

  2. Yeah sis, I took some pictures but cheaped out on the camera and I think that's the reason they wont upload. I'm excellent at breaking machinery of any sort. I'll keep trying though. I've been poppin in and out of the site to see how things are. Lots of new names! I'm glad my mates remembered me!
  3. Hey! I'm back, for those of you who care. The job is finished on the islands and the resort that I was working on but they wont upload. I'll keep trying so you can all see where I've been at and be appropriately jealous. I hope everybody has been well and all is good in your lives. God, I missed UNRV. Great to be back!
  4. Mr. Carlin was a comic genius. If you liked his appearances in the 'Bill and Ted' movies, check out his abolutely freakin' hilarious turn in the 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' movie. Classic Carlin. Taking the piss out of himself and us all at the same time. His tapes (yes, I'm old!) got me through a whole lot of hard times. RIP, George.
  5. Perhaps because you lick arses cleaner?
  6. I saw the new Hulk movie, The Inredible Hulk. I reckon this one is better than Ang Lee's effort with Eric Bana as the big greenie, especially if you are a fan of The Hulk comics. When you see a movie about the angry green behemoth, there is a short checklist of things you want to see him do. It goes like this... 1. HULK SMASH ....which he did, often, with fantastic CGI results. I loved it and so did my kids. This time he gets to take on 'The Abomination', another large green angry type who is the only being in the Marvel Comics Universe who can match The Hulksters raw power. In the last Hulk movie, he beat up on a city. *Yawn*. This time he gets to smash another being, who smashes back! Their clashes were great. I reccomend it to those of you who like their escapism completely detached from reality.
  7. GO THE NETHERLANDS! Any team that has high visibility fluorescent orange as their national color deserves to win!
  8. What about Gaius Julius Agricola, stepfather of the historian Tacitus, ravager of Britain? Was he a 'true' member of the Julii, or the descendant of a manumitted slave/freeman?
  9. Hey Neph! Wicked work as usual. I've always wondered about the Mamercus' first name, it's origin, and peculiarity to the Aemilians. Cheers for the enlightenment. Which famous family is next?
  10. Thanks for all of the messages guys. I've had an extended stay in New Zealand to tie some loose ends up, now it's back to Fiji. I'm going to miss you guys! UNRV RULES.
  11. Iron Man with my kids. Robert Downey had quite a few scenes where he had to act like a spaced out junky, and boy was he convincing. As far as Marvel Comic adaptations go, Iron Man was OK.
  12. I've had some leave to come back to New Zealand from Fiji (I've got a kickarse new job on a tropical island paradise) and tie up some loose ends, and like an eejit I left the keys to some very important heavy machinery IN A WHOLE OTHER COUNTRY. I know how you feel, sis. Being locked out sucks.
  13. That is possibly the most intelligible thing of yours that I have read yet!
  14. Friends and fellow scions of UNRV! I have a new job. Less hours, less work, more money, more responsibility. I'm happy in the new job, but where we work there is no TV coverage, no Internet, and no Cell Phone reception. These are minor trivialities really, because the job is on a tropical island building a new resort. It's a three month contract running a labour crew of twelve, a really easy gig bar the technological difficulties. The major drawback is that I can't get to UNRV much these days, and I really miss visiting this site and giving arseholes to that reprobate Bathroom Attendant's Assistant, Gaius Octavius. You'll keep, Octavius! To my friend the lovely dianamt54, if she is reading this, we'll hook up again soon! And to Nephele, Lost Warrior and docoflove you're all class, ladies, and I will be back soon to lead your topics off thread! I miss the caustic wit of Moonlapse, the incredibly detailed knowledge of Faustus, and to Gaius Paulinus Maximus, 'Go The Rhinos!' This weekend is to be spent with my kids. I've got a back pocket bursting at the seams with cash, all of it which will be spent mercilessly on trinkets, toys, video games and junk food. My lovely little girls and my boy are going to get spoilt ROTTEN. I can't wait! First stop, Dunkin' Donuts! After that I'm going to let children be my guides. It's all up to them where we go and what we do. Am I a madman? Yes, I freakin' am! I shall return!
  15. Happy birthday, Ursus! Have a good one!
  16. Happy Birthday, Faustus! Hope you have a great day!
  17. Welcome to UNRV, Zanatos

  18. Welcome to UNRV, Zanatos

  19. I've had one bestowed on me by Gaius Octavius that I like; The Savage!
  20. I got some of the door takings (pittance, but hey, happy to get it!) and a bar tab. Better than a kick up the arse!
  21. Happy birthday, Olympia!

  22. Good to have you back and blogging, GO! (I'm just going to pretend I undertood what that was all about! )
