oups ! i just read yesterdays post. So, it was the Empire mini-series that i was looking for. I understand the little controversy about a production's factual accurateness. I put myself in a history buff's shoes or at least have a passionate consumer's point of view when it comes to appreciating some promising entertainment. Movie or serie makers really lose points for not putting the effort in rending their piece faithfull to our past. It just becomes some easy box office filler or rating booster. I guess there's less or no fun in watching. Same as no shell casings with gun fire, skid marks in the street revealing retakes or mistakingly showing some and no damage whatsoever in a car chase. Demanding viewers ? Maybe. Or, they just want the real stuff. I will contradict myself though ,because like most people, i don't know as much as some do in world history. For most, a movie or a serie is not a documentary. They're just pleasurable viewing of a way of seeing a part of our past. Call me ignorant but at least i may know more than i used to. Such productions offer more material to talk about and may reach one out of ten's interest to research more on the subject. As a student would. His rating would be accordingly should he find fact or fiction. So it's Hollywood, it has to sell ! Mixed reviews, depending on who's viewing ! Not aware of ''Empire'' s mistakes, i fairly enjoyed it for the romantic point of view and the general symbolised classic themes such as love, devotion, courage, honor, duty, revenge, lust, and a few other sins. lol

hi everyone ! i was wondering if someone remembers a t.v. serie that aired a few years back. It was in my opinion the ''Gladiator'' movie made for T.V. If i'm not mistaking, the story line was very similar and entertained for 2 or 3 episodes. So, any help ?
