Berlusconi discovers Cartagenian graves

Recommended Posts

Mr Berlusconi told escort Patrizia D'Addario of 30 Phoenician tombs at his Sardinia villa.

The tombs date from 300BC, a man said to be Mr Berlusconi was heard saying.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/8168085.stm seems to put this happy discovery in a negative light. I gather these were Cartagenians who died just a few decades too early to be victims of the Roman invasion of Sardinia.
