I have heard that Moridunum is just outside Honiton can anyone verify this for me? I have heard it from a source from an archaeological group. Any ideas on where I can get verfication? Soc.' or 'Trans. of the Devonshire Assoc.' or their might even be somthing on it in Britannia. Theres an article on a fort at Bury Barton in Britannia. Other than that though i cant be much help. I have heard that whilst excavating the new A30 road to Exeter, they discovered a Roman fort about three miles outside of Honiton.
