I believe it should be put on school cirriculums, as for me, I believe everyone should be given the option to learn it! As a schoolboy in the early 60s, I enjoyed my history classes and only "touched" on the subject of latin,I believe very few schools teach it, which is a great shame ! pompeius magnus Posted February 10, 2005 Report Share Posted February 10, 2005 I didn't take it until last semester, but it should definintly be offered at all schools as it also helps with english grammar. Guest spartacus Posted February 10, 2005 Report Share Posted February 10, 2005 I learnt basic french simply by buying and reading " Le Monde" newspaper and checking words I was unsure of with a french dictionary!
