Caeser Posted April 9, 2005 Report Share Posted April 9, 2005 I have a question concerning a game.....Bingo Please bare with me........ i was watching a Peter Kay dvd (that Peter Kay thing) and one of the episodes was about Bingo and the reference was that Bingo was first palyed in ancient Rome........is this true? if so, has it changed in anyway? i'm just curious as i have never heard of it before. I looked up the history of Bingo which says: 'The game's history can be traced back to 1530, to an Italian lottery called "Lo Giuoco del Lotto D'Italia," which is still played every Saturday in Italy.' i'm just wondering if it goes back even further.
