Honorius Posted April 20, 2005 Report Share Posted April 20, 2005 my interest in history began when my brother had to create a board game for a school project and he based it on a castle and a seige. i then got hooked onto medieval history after watching the battle of stirling in the movie braveheart-i mustve watched that scene over 1000 times because i wrecked the video after rewinding it so much and playing it. I was just amazed by the cavalry charge. this began when i was in grade 3. My school library had a very small section on history but i found a book on world history which i memorised in my remaining years in primary school. And at the moment i am reading a novel written by David Anthony Durham called Pride of Carthage. The board game and braveheart triggered my love for ancient warfare and history..
