Raedarius 0 Report post Posted April 17, 2012 I started reading Julius Caesar's Commentaries on the Gallic wars and I quickly found myself overwhelmed by all the different tribes mentioned. Does anyone know of any good resources that could help me keep them straight?
Centurion-Macro 3 Report post Posted April 18, 2012 Only thing I can suggest are the maps you can find on Google. They especially helped me for understanding the invasion of Britain, so I think they will help with the Gauls too.

Virgil61 3 Report post Posted April 19, 2012 (edited) A very good map since it gives topographical information which helps make some sense of the campaign routes and perhaps even of some of the decision making by JC. EDIT: Might be nice to add the map url. Gaul Map Edited April 19, 2012 by Virgil61
