guy Posted September 29, 2021 Report Share Posted September 29, 2021 (edited) This 17 cm high statuette was recently unearthed. It is thought to depict Venus, the Roman goddess of love. It is believed to be from the first or second century AD. Quote “The archaeologists believe the 17cm-high figurine would have been worshipped as a religious icon. ‘It seems certain the figurine is from this period and is a representation of Venus.
