Two female marble heads were found in an apartment bought by a 35-year-old man in Thessaloniki, Greece. Although the article is sparse in details, they are thought to date from the Roman period. I am not sure how the statues got there, however. It’s not clear, either, whether they were stolen or found in an unauthorized excavation.
