Ceramic roof tiles attributed to the Greek King Antiochus IV (reign 175-164 BCE) were found in Jerusalem this week. It was his persecution of the Jews of Judea and Samaria that led to the rebellion of the Jewish Maccabees and the Hanukkah celebration.
