Roman horse cemetery found in Stuttgart, Germany

Over 100 horse skeletons have been discovered near Stuttgart, Germany. These were believed to have been belonged to a Roman castra (military camp) that dated from the early 2nd century AD. An analysis of the horse remains suggest they died at different times.
