caesar novus
AI has reached 148 on the IQ scale, and is now making more accurate predictions than people in many domains. Imagine predictions going backwards in time to supplant missing info or de-bias Roman texts? Here is good podcast on it where I attempt to drop you at minute 16.5: In the meantime I wish they would hone predictive power on meteorology which often has persistent patterns of errors. guidoLaMoto
It's all a metter of inductive reasoning. Given an outcome, assign reasonable weights to the possible explanations. (Deductive reasoning is rarely possible in real life situations because rarely is only one explanation possible). Because a computer has perfect, almost instantaneous recall, it can quickly search the memory bank and assign those weights to all pertinent material. I have one of those pornographic memories. I remember everything I:ve ever heard or read....How quickly & completely I retrieve that material is another matter...A couple years ago, I was discussing ol time movies with my uncle. At one point, I just couldn't remember a certain star's name and we just let it drop....Two days later the name suddenly popped into my head. I dialed my uncle's number. He picked up. I blurted out "Hedy Lamar!" And hung up... He call back and said "Oh, right." and hung up.

So if one wants to fill in the gaps in the Caligula record, can either start with Tiberius years and predict forward or start with Claudius years and predict backwards? I guess humans sometimes do both. As for possible "por*" typo above, that suggests a writer with a lot of faith in dictation software or auto-correct-spelling. May also be interested in new ai machine being incorporated by some health insurance providers next year. Stellarus helps you navigate your insurance authorizations based on 60 databases, which can be a greater mystery than your actual health complaint. Coming to a plan near me; I may give a try to it. caesar novus
It gives me headaches to figure out quantum archeology, but something else caught my ear in their latest podcast which is widely followed by the tech elite. They have already been documenting how AI is lowering starting wages for college graduates, and how they can navigate this. I think of their concept like "elasticity of demand" where AI makes brain work cheaper, incentivizing consumer demand and giving a bigger job ecosystem for AI leveraged workers. And they point out that older workers or retirees can see 401k/Roth and real estate assets mushroom in AI growth. That hillbilly mudpatch or desert shack may mushroom in value due to workers fleeing overpriced city real estate and commuting by flying AI robotaxis, etc. More presently, watch financial assets that support AI, bubbly or not (crashed about 10% in today's stockmarket wipeout). This can be observed by gov't filings by the most successful investors as briefly pointed out starting 2h03m47s in latest podcast below. I followed David's directions to find one of the most successful AI investment funds "Situational Awareness" reporting 20x growth per year with simple approach following AI power and optics stocks BE and LITE in the top holdings: https://13f.info/manager/0002045724-situational-awareness-lp . You can click on recent quarter for more details (beware of "CALL" labels which indicates a bet on those many shares going down) So I sanity check by charting much of a year showing 500% to 750% growth https://stockcharts.com/freecharts/perf.php?$SPX,BE,LITE . Worth watching for their next updates mid-May etc, if not prematurely committing to. Edited March 27 by caesar novus
