Honorius Posted June 18, 2006 Report Share Posted June 18, 2006 Hey guys the other day i was thinking about the Praetorian guard and the Varangians of the byzantine emperors but what where the imperial/personal guards of the emperors after the Praetorians were disbanded and before the Varangians in Constantinople? i remember reading it was like a cavalry based guard but i dont recall their name..
