Parmenion Posted August 4, 2006 Report Share Posted August 4, 2006 Hi Im logging on to as many of these sites as i can to get the word out, there is a new Publishing House thats just been established, they are called Libros and through me (acting as agent) They are looking for new authors, they are willing to read pretty much anything. What i need if anyone is interested is for you to email me with any questions, a synopsis, and the first 4 chapters of the book (prologue as well if there is one) This is 100% legit. Check out my profile to go to my web shop, and visit the scarrow brothers forum, the james barclay forum or the conn iggulden forum. so far 1 of the authors (out of 7 sent) has ben offered a contract, why only 1...well they have only just finished the first one. i look forward to hearing from you. I agree 100% legit does often trigger alram bells, but what doesnt on the net, would it have sounded better any other way. I can guarantee authenticity? I have picked up 8 authors so far from various forums, inc Con Igguldens, Simon scarrows, and James Barclays. As to a prev comment that i dont punctuate and even spell things wrongly...yep it happens, but thats why god invented Proof readers, editiors and Spell check. My job is not to say that your spelling sucks, its to read the initial submission, is it any good does it flow, and havinf read more books than you find in your average library i feel quite qualified to answer that. The main thing here is that this is a new company set up by an author for new authors, its a damn hard world out there for any one trying to publish. This publisher allows you to retain ownership of your material and get you published. Its not self publication either, as some of these too good to be true publisher are, your responsibility is to write a good book, edit it to requirements and to set up your own web page to help with publicity! my job is to help you get accepted and offered the contract. And as i know the owner of Libros i have a very good in!! Just to update you, the publishers is up and running there are a few authors who are heading towards publication in the next couple of months.
